Mr. Thompson serves as CIO for Advocacy Wealth Management. His investment professional experience spans over 30 years, earned in service to Montag & Caldwell
which became an Advocacy Wealth Company in August 2024. He has held the CIO role for Montag & Caldwell for the past 3 years, and prior to that was a Montag & Caldwell Director of Research for 15 years. He also serves as a Portfolio Manager/Research Analyst for Montag & Caldwell brand large cap growth, mid cap growth, and thematic growth strategies. He is a former trustee for his alma mater, The University of the South. He is a member of the Buckhead Rotary Club, and his professional affiliations include the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Atlanta, former Trustee.
