Melissa Coleman, CFP®, is a Financial Advisor at Advocacy Wealth Management. Melissa joined The Forge Companies in 2018. She has a strong commitment to nurturing client relationships and helping to guide clients towards their financial goals.
After graduating with a degree in sociology and anthropology, focusing on anthropology, from Valdosta State University, Melissa embarked on a transformative journey with the Peace Corps in the interior regions of Guyana, South America. Through her experience, Melissa gained a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and a profound understanding of the importance of community.
In addition to being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Melissa also holds a Series 65 and a Georgia Resident Life Insurance Agent license. Melissa is equipped to provide guidance to clients and brings comprehensive financial knowledge to her role.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Melissa finds joy in the company of her rescue pup. She appreciates the tranquility of immersing herself in a good book, explores her creativity through various crafts, and finds solace and rejuvenation through activities such as running, biking, and leisurely walks.
